Born in the United Kingdom, Rosie moved to California in 2016. She has been certified as a California Naturalist via the University of California’s Environmental Stewards program, and teaches interdisciplinary workshops combining sculpture, storytelling, and naturalism at various community spaces, including AMOCA, California Botanic Garden and The Philosophical Research Society. She is an advocate for alternative education and a founder and facilitator of the artists’ collective, worm school.
Brand’s graphic narratives appear in literary journals The Rumpus, and Air/Light!
Her sculptural work has been exhibited across Southern California.
