Born in the United Kingdom, Rosie moved to California in 2016. She has been certified as a California Naturalist via the University of California’s Environmental Stewards program, and teaches interdisciplinary workshops combining sculpture, storytelling, and naturalism at various community spaces across Southern California, including Feminist Center for Creative Work and Heavy Manners Library. She is an advocate for alternative education and a founder and facilitator of the artists’ collective, worm school, who hold community reading discussions with material exercises for thinking hands.
Rosie’s writing appears in or is forthcoming in literary journals The Rumpus, and Air/Light! Her sculptural work is currently on view at Santa Barbara Botanic Garden in the exhibition Seed: A Living Dream through April 2025.
